What Causes Rashes On Back And Shoulder After Placing A Nerve Block On Shoulder?
my husband had surgery on 04/29/15 where a nerve block was placed in his shoulder nerve bundle and now has rash on both sides of back and on shoulders. he also takes 2 ml of testosterone every 14 days. Is it possible that either of these could be causing rash. it has little white pustules in center but don t itch
Rash with white pustules in center is usually due to a condition called molluscum contagion. But in any dermatological condition the pictures and actual visual impression gives the proper diagnosis. Hence consult a Dermatologist for proper diagnosis and treatment.
Do not stop or start any treatment without your Doctors advise. Do not apply anything locally. Do not open pustules as it may spread the disease to other parts. The allergic reaction would have occurred all over body, hence may not be related to the treatment your husband is taking.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
