What Causes Rashes On Body After Atorvastatin And Amlodipine Withdrawal?
I have been taking atorvastatin and amolodopine for about 6 weeks, but due to bad side effects, I gradually reduced the dose over a couple of weeks until I stopped taking them all together. I now have a severe rash on my hands and other places on my body.I am a male aged 61 years and also take 10mg per day of acitretin to treat psoriasis.Thanks for any help you can offer.

1. Taking Atorvastatin + Amlodipine combination is related with ADR (Adverse Drug Reaction) of pruritus,rash with Amlodipine and bullous rash with Atorvastatin thus could be the side effect of the drug.
2. Apart from this also check with your liver function test, CPK and platelet count since the said combination is said to alter the values.
