What Causes Rashes On Chest, Headache, Cough And Sore Throat?
In April of this year I visited Jacksonville Florida. I became very ill. Went to Urgent care with complaints of rash on my chest, which I initially thought was sunburn, headache, coughing, sore throat. Was diagnosed with upper respiratory infection and Laryngitis. I have also had ongoing problems with my left eye since cataract surgery 4 years ago. From time to time my skin itches, no hives but it just itches all over. Whenever I wash my ears they turn beet red. I have been diagnosed with iritis, scleritis, uveitis, you name it. I ve been on prednisolone drops for 4 years for my eye. I have been tested for Rheumatoid Arthritis, Scarcoidosis, Lupus and all have been negative. Any suggestions? Thank you

As per my clinical experience, the rashes on chest, cough, sore throat and headache are in concern with viral infection with secondary manifestations. My guidelines are as below:
- Bathing with antiseptic soap sitz bath with lavender oil and epsom salt
- Decongestant, cough formulations with guianphenacine, bromhexine or others
- Acetaminophen or paracetamol for headache relief
- Gargles with salted lukewarm water added peppermint oil
- Discuss need of anti-viral or antibiotic medications with your treating doctor
