Pain Medicine & Palliative Care Specialist, Dr. Sabiha Banu's Response
hi
this is more common in small kids of that age after birth, this is usually due to environmental & material adaptation, either for the clothing, water, soaps or sometimes unknown cause.
do not worry.
the treatment will be steroid topical application.
if it is not reduced, with hydrocortisone, please try with mometasone (momate cream) which is very mild on the skin with no side effects.
if the rash is not receeeding please take consult back to your treating doctor or the dermatologist.
all the best take care.
