What Causes Rashes On Mouth Spreading Towards Nose And Eyes In Infants?

My daughter is 8 months old. She has had a rash on her face for a couple months now. Started all around her mouth. Now is spreading to her nose and around her eyes. I took her in about a month ago and they prescribed a hydrocortisone cream that we have been using twice daily for almost a month now. It is not clearing up at all and she is now starting to rub her face a lot especially around her eyes. No fever and eating and drinking well. Should she be rechecked or what could this be?

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, it could be due to some viral infection, this is the first possibility because of the age, and second it could be due to some allergic disorders in either of these conditions just wait for some time and it will be fine, if symptom does not improved then it then antihistamine can be used "Levocetirizine" is the best to try and this is nothing to worry, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
