What Causes Rashes On The Body After Taking Peridex?
How common is an allergic reaction to peridex? I started it on Monday night, 2 doses on Tuesday and 2 on wed and awoke today with hives neck down. I drank water after my dose last night and got a taste of the rinse. Could this have contributed to a aystemic reaction?
The hives neck down could have been shown since the first use of Peridex if the allergy reaction was to this.
To me, it was not Peridex causing allergy reaction but some insect bite or any food/drink you consumed or either any other cosmetic product you've started recently.
You can stop taking Peridex, and other new pills or substance you might have used recently, take oral antihistaminic and apply Calamine lotion locally.
If no improvement, report this to your caring doctor for further evaluation and treatment.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
