What Causes Rashes On The Chest Along With Abdominal Cramps And Bloating?

I developed rashes on my chest (under my pectoral muscle and on my sternum) and around my rectum. This occurred about 5 weeks ago. About 2 weeks ago I started having stomach cramps/bloating/gas that occurs all day every day. My first thought was I was eating something that was causing an allergy or intolerance so I first cut out the things I started eating recently, but after 3 days the symptoms remained. Any ideas? I have never had allergies or food intolerances before. I am a male, age 58.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

It can be some from of allergic reaction or viral infection.

You can be prescribed levocetirizine like medication for that which is anti allergic medication.

Topical steroid or calamine lotion can be applied over rash.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Parth Goswami,
