What Causes Rashes On The Face, Cold, Nasal Congestion And Fatigue?
my 23 year old daughter has a rash on her face...it started right on her how line, spread to under her eyes and now she has a patch on her back. it is itchy only sometimes, but she has had it for over two weeks. She recently acquired a head cold with a stuffy nose and fatigue as well. any idea what might be causing the rash?should she try some Cortaid, or Benadryl?
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of rashes on the face, cold, nasal congestion and fatigue which is due to upper respiratory tract infection leading to flu/common cold. I would suggest you to take few preventive measures such as you should take cough expectorants. You should Chew a Vitamin C pellet. Rashes are common occurrences in these cases, Avoid cold carbonated beverages. You should get blood test and swab test done. Visit ENT specialist once and get complete examination done and start treatment accordingly. You should take antibiotics such as Levofloxacin or Azithromycin for 5-7 days. You should take anti inflammatory medication such as Levocetirizine.
Hope your concern has been resolved. Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
