What Causes Rashes On The Face Of An Infant After Taking Montelukast Granules?
My son is 1year and three months old, from his six months of age he had frequent cold and wheezing doctor proscribed him.Montair granules one satchet every day continuously for six months.now it s almost five months I started giving the medicine he is developing rashes on his face. Is the rashes due to the medicine side effects or toxicity?
The rash on a child's face can be from different reasons from seborrhoic dermatitis to an allergic reaction to the medications he is using.
It is important to have the child checked with your doctor to make sure of the exact cause. If a local skin condition such as eczema or seborrhoic dermatitis is suspected, local treatment is needed. If this is likely to be an allergic reaction to the medication, he will need to stop it.
I hope this answers your query. I remain at your disposal for further medical assistance.
