General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The steps you should follow are:

1. Apply cool compress and wet cloths to affected areas
2. Wear loose-fitting and lightweight clothes
3. Antihistamines: Loratadine or Cetirizine
4. Other drugs can be given if severe
5. Best is prevent the exposure of the triggering factor. Try to determine which is causing your hives.

Try to avoid stimulant like cream, cosmetics, foods, weather, clothes, etc.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Dipan Samanta, General & Family Physician
