What Causes Rashes On The Forearm After Taking Janumet XR?
Hello! My husband just started taking Janumet XR 50mg/1000 mg and has noticed a rash developing. It is extremely noticeable on his inner forearm? (where the arm bends, inside) and has now noticed his penis is red and starting to get flaky. Is this a normal side effect for this medication? Should he stop taking it right away?

It might be due to allergic eruption.
As a first line management you can take antihistamines like Pheneramine for symptomatic relief. If symptoms persist you can consult a physician and get evaluated.
