What Causes Rashes On The Legs And Arms While On Triamterene-HCTZ?
i have been on TriamtereneHTZC for about 5 years with in the lat 7 months ive been breaing out with a rash and even hives on my legs arm and stomic .my arm are really dry where i broke out.and the sun sometimes makes it worse and i like to be out side i am on other meds also .DiltiaZEM HCI ER ,Losartan potassium and Famotidine iam just woundering if any of these would make me break out never hd a problem about 7 months ago
You already using this drug since 5 years but it won't cause any side effects. Since seven months you developed symptoms may be due to Losarton or Diltiazem or varicose veins or contact dermatitis or cellulitis, etc.
Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is. You may try alternate medication in place of Losarton. Please consult your physician/dermatologist he will examine and treat you accordingly.
