Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
HI, I have some strange rash that looks like prickly heat on both lower legs on the lowest part of my leg, just above my ankles. It is not due to shoes or friction as I was barefoot most of today. I have had it for about three days now. It is not hot or itchy. Any thoughts?
Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic. I can understand your concern. Since you are were barefooted for 3 days, possibility of allergy is more likely for your rashes. So take combination of antihistamine (levocetrizine or fexofenadine) and anti allergic (montelukast) once a day at night. Apply mometasone cream on legs. You will mostly improve with all these in 2-3 days. If rashes don't improve then consult dermatologist. Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
