Hallow Dear,
Such pustular
rash over the vulval area are likely to be due to the infection. If they are not itching or causing pains, you can rule out
herpes. Such rash is very commonly seen due to some sexually transmitted infections like
gonorrhoea or chlamydia. These infections can be completely treated by antibiotics treatment taken in time and with full course. If left ignored, they may involve internal organs leading to complications in reproductory life and urinary infections. Gonorrhoea in particular is known to cause tubal blocks leading to
infertility.
Gonorrhoea is also known to co-exist with another sexually transmitted infection -
syphilis. Syphilis is very notorious infection which in advances stages can involve any organ of the body. It may even be transmitted to the foetus in
uterus. However, the best part of syphilis is that it can be completely cured by penicillin. It can be diagnosed with
VDRL test on blood.
Please do not ignore. Report to your STD specialist or Gynaecologist and get the infection treated completely. You and your sexual partner will have to report to them. Both of you will have to undergo the treatment simultaneously and observe sexual abstinence till you are cured.
If it turns out to be some other infection, still it will need antibiotics treatment.
Get cured and stay cured.
