hello...I wanted to know the signs of a tick bite. My grand daughter has a rash that looks like small ringworms. They are red and raised. She also complains of headache, body aches and has been running a fever since Sunday. Also complaining of sore throat. Has little blood with mucus when she blows her nose
Hi. Thanks for your query. Read and understood the history related to your grand daughter.Te development of the rash that look like small ring worms, raised and red. Also have headache, body ache and fever. The tick notes will show a hallow in the center of rash. These symptoms can be due to tic bites as well as due to viral fever as is called as flu with skin exenthema. Hence it is better to take the child to the Pediatrician to make sure that the cause is found,. The treatment is almost similar hence start with the antipyretic and painkillers as soon as possible. Keep her well hydrated. Blood tests will help further as well as the progress of the symptoms and the signs as observed by the Doctor.
