What Causes Rashes With Knots On Body When Diagnosed With Erythema Multiforme?
What would cause knots and rashes on the skin etc head and upper torso. The doctor gave a steriod and a prescription for dexamethasone 4 mg and a steriod shot. He diagnosis was Erythema multiforme, unspecified. office visit was 12-26-15. On Jan 1 symtons have returned.

I really appreciate your concern, if this is the skin lesion (Erythema multiform) then it has to be treated for little long time some may added second line of treatment but it has to be given some time to cure, for symptomatic relief antihistamine can be added (However it is the kind of disease that may not need any treatment what ever being given the role of that are very uncertain ) hope this information helps.
