What Causes Rectal Bleeding While Suffering From Sciatica And Slipped Disc?

Hello, I have a Slipped disc and Siatica. Recently I have began bleeding from the rectum. I don t have piles or polips, it s just fresh red blood which is not in the stool. Recently I have been in a lot of pain due to the siatica after a long walk. Are the three related ?

Hello,

The sciatica is caused by the slipped disc. However, the blood in your stool is not related to the other two.
It could be due to small piles that have recently developed or a problem in your lower intestines that is causing bleeding.
In my practice, I would perform a rectal examination to check for small piles. I advise you to visit a doctor to have your rectal area checked. They may, depending on those results, also recommend a colonoscopy.

All the best.
