What Causes Rectal Bleeding With History Of Bilateral Hip Replacement?

65 yr old male with spontaneous rectal bleeding. Bright red, small amt., first and only episode, denies pain, or burning. Reports normal soft BMs. Negative colonoscopy 2 years ago. Active, BP normal, heterosexual, married, Bilateral hip replacement 2011. Regular blood donor. What may be the causes.

I really appreciate your concern, first is to ruled out the possibility of fissures and hemorrhoids, if this is there then these need to be managed accordingly, some time chances of malignancy need to be ruled out, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
