What Causes Rectal Bleeding With History Of Having Tumors Removed From Colon?
Iam 74 years old. I have had some bleeding from the rectum. I have had 13 tumors taken out of my colon from 2002 to 2013. They were not cancer. Now I had to go to hospital and try to find out what is the matter with me. I do have discomfort only on my left side by the belt area. I did have x rays at Alta bates hospital. I don t know what the results are. I think I am impacted with waste or that I have cancer. and it is why I have the pressure there. I would not be sur prized to know this I had to take asprin and I did drink .a lot of coffee. also I did eat hot peppers too so I may did some damage to my stomach. I also have this disease of pockets in my intestins. do you think I may have cancer // ////
Bleeding per rectum along with history of multiple tumors in colon can be due to recurrence of growth in colon. I suggest you to get colonoscopy to look for evidence of any growth in colon.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
