Hi,

After a long journey excess pressure over haemorrhoids can worsen the situation. So your pain and blood in stool are due to internal haemorrhoids.

You can be prescribed stool softener syrup for your piles. Avoid the intake of excess spicy foods. Ibuprofen like an anti-inflammatory drug can be prescribed.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Parth Goswami, General & Family Physician
