What Causes Recurrence Of Fever?
Hello, I have had a fever now for 5 days with sickness headache ear ache and a very sore throat. I have had the doctor come to my home today and he has given me some penicillin for tonsillitis. I am now back with a fever of 38.7 and after taking paracetamol and ibuprofen it is not coming down, I also can not sleep or eat anything and feel so poorly. I just want some reassurance I am doing the right thing as my stomach is so tender to touch and worried that I am harming it with all the drugs I am taking and no food.

As you describe,you had a throat infection, and got relief of infection, and fever, but due to the drugs, or fever you had stomach pain, and loss of appetite.
I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms omeprazole, domperidone, and antacid gel along with other drugs.
