What Causes Recurrent Asthma Despite Taking Solone And Tensig?

I was on a large dose of Tensig, four tablets a day .I had a bad side effect of my asthma being exacerbated, I took a QVAR puffer but also got a bad reaction to that, so I stopped. The asthma became really bad, but under doctor s orders, I continued on with the tensig for two more months. I stopped Tensig about 4 months ago. My asthma is out of control, wakes me up in the middle of the night gasping for breath ans leaves me run down. The only thing that gives me relief is Solone. I take 1 tablets for 5 days, then half a tablet for five days. I have taken this vourse about 6 times over the last 6 months. When I am on these courses, my asthma is under complete control. Around four days after I stop, the asthma comes back and is again out of control. Can you offer any advise. Roger Cross

Ophthalmologist 's  Response
Hi,

Asthma is always a recurrent condition which can only be controlled with medications and not abolish per se.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care.
