General & Family Physician, Dr. Vasudha's Response
Hi,
It seems to be due to excessive sweating along with negligence about genital &overall hygiene. Allergy may play role in exaggerating the effects of skin irritation.Formation of pus suggests secondary infection to skin lesion. If STD tests are negative, a complete blood count & cross eye examination by an expert physician would help you. You would need antibiotic suitable for the type of infection for a sufficiently long time. Maintain personal care in the form of cleanliness, avoiding sweating, use of cotton undergarments & dusting with medicated powder. Consider over the counter products would hasten the healing.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Vasudha Jayant Athavale, General & Family Physician
