What Causes Recurrent Cold Flashes In The Body Post Kidney Cancer Treatment?

My father was diagnosed with Stage 3 Kidney Cancer in July. They operated and removed all cancer except one adrenal gland full of cancer. As of now, no cancer, and no changes in adrenal gland. He keeps having cold flashes that make him week and bring his temperature down to 95.1 . The attacks last for 3 hours. At first he had one attack a month. Recently, he is having one a week, and none of his doctors are sure of why. Any thoughts?

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, it is not the infection detected then body temperature may be due to immune response or change in metabolism the symptom of nonspecific fever is very common in malignant disease can response to steroid but for that patient must be qualified hope this information helps.
