Hello,
The problem is chronic, thus probably it could be
GERD as such:
- Take an opinion of gastroenterologist or medicine specialist who might ask for an investigation like
endoscopy, gastric analysis,
haemoglobin.
- Any addiction [alcohol/smoking], or unusual
stress [ physical and/or mental] could be the cause.
- Do not lie down immediately after food.
- Head high position at night (during sleep).
- Take small nonbulky meals.
- Bland and
soft diet, avoid chillies and sour or fatty food.
- Stop irritant drugs (painkillers).
- Take green gram, bitter gourd, white gourd melon, old brown rice, piper longum, garlic, honey, amla, rice gruel, cucumber, banana, watermelon, pomegranate, tomato, carrot, lukewarm water.
- Avoid newly harvested rice, chickpea flour, black/horse gram, potato, brinjal, buttermilk, spices, tea/coffee, junk food, daytime sleeping, salt and salt items in excess (chutney, sauce, pickles, chips, namkeen), sesame.
PS. As mainly chest symptoms are there, thus this is an indication for immediate chest X-ray, also the choice of medicine will vary from doctor to doctor, and from locality to locality, till then
- maintain good
oral hygiene, rinse your mouth after every meal, avoid smoking,
tobacco chewing.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
