What Causes Recurrent Cough Despite Taking Hetrazan And Derinide?
I was prescribed Doxolin 400 mg twice a day for 15 days and alongwith was prescribed hetrazan, noworm, mefex, allerfix total and Derinide nasal spray. This was totally a months course. I was allright after one month course. Later i was told to continue allerfix total and Derinide for another month. At the end of this second month cough has started again. Should i start Doxolin as my doctor had told me to start it if the cough starts again? Can Doxolin be taken for long term?
Recurrent cough commonly occurs due to anxiety & stress. Side effects of derinide may sometimes cause cough. Stay away from addictions if any. Take the prescribed medicines in time.
Yes, you can take Doxolin as prescribed by your treating doctor. Long-acting bronchodilators can be used for long term control of recurrent cough or cough induced asthma.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
