Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have ongoing occasional diarrhea At least 50% of bowel movements. Thought it was maybe caused from using xylitol, which I used as a sweetener for several months. I was having diarrhea for quite a while and noticed on a package of xylitol that it said it can cause diarrhea . So I stopped using it. Haven t had xylitol for over a week.... maybe two weeks. Still having diarrhea . What can it be? What should I eat or not eat? Should hi take something for it?
