Syncope refers to
loss of consciousness at least for a brief time. If this is not occurring then you do not have syncope at this point.
Dizziness can be due to different causes including : (1) abnormal heart rate/rhythm
(2)electrolyte disturbance
(3)certain diseases of the
inner ear such as BPPV, menieres or vestibular neuronitis
(4)side effect of medication
(5)anemia
(6)low blood sugars but this would not occur only at this point after driving
You should consider assessment by your doctor. This would include (1)physical examination of the chest, lungs, ears, tests for inner conditions
(2)review of all medication
(3) blood tests such as full blood count,
diabetes, electrolytes
(4)an ECG may be suggested
Treatment would depend on the cause found.
