What Causes Recurrent Fluctuating Body Temperature In Infants?
Hi.My name is Liliana.My son,Kevin was 2 years old last month.Last night his body temperature was 35.8 C,now is 36C.Last weekend he had fever 39C for 2 days,I gave him some Nurofren to help him sleep,the rest of the week he was fine,didn't want to eat much.Thursday night he had again fever,on Friday he was seen by a nurse who said he was ok.Last night his body temperature was 35.8C before sleep,now is again 36.1C.

35.8 and 36.1 are normal body temperature. He had fever twice when his temperature was 39.Fever could be because of virus or bacterial infection. It decreased because of treatment given by nurse.Loss of appetite during and for short period after infection is natural.So don't worry.
