What Causes Recurrent Fungal Infections In The Groin And Scrotum?
Hi, I m a 22 year old male and has been getting recurrent fungal infections in my groin area and scrotum. I have used candid cream after which it had disappeared but it itches now occasionally especially at night after a sleep. Can you advice me on medications to eradicate this problem. Thanks
Dear Thanks for contacting with your health concern and after reviewing your history I'm of the following opinion:
1. Nocturnal itching, coming now and then and in groin and scrotum area one should think of SCABIES in which one has to think of: . prolonged exposure with infected person . living in overcrowded place . poor personnel hygiene
2. Ideal treatment is first to check with a Dermatologist who will decide which treatment options are best for you, till then
. apply gamma benzene hexachloride below neck for consecutive three days and later boil the clothes in hot water and make sure to simultaneously treat all family members.
PS. avoid close physical contact and avoid sharing personnel belongings
