.viral fever
.enteric fever
.malaria
.UTI
.PNEUMONIA
.tonsillitis
.dengue
So you ask for investigation to rule out other diseases.In your case x ray chest ,blood culture,urine culture ,PS for MP would be useful to determine the diagnosis
