What Causes Recurrent Infectious Diarrhea In Infant?
Good Morning Doctor, My son is of 18 months. He is suffering from Infectious diarrhea. From last 3 months, every months it happens once. I am very tense. Of course he is having proper medicine. But he has become relly weak. please suggest me, how to improve his immune system. Any syrup?
Understanding your concern. As per your query you child have symptoms of recurrent infectious diarrhea which seems to be due to infection by H. Pylori leading to gastroenteritis. It could be due to electrolyte imbalance in body. Need not to worry at all. I would suggest you to ensure you are giving adequate hydration, oral intake and replenishing water to avoid salt losses. Visit gastroenterologist once and get it examined. You should go for complete examination and start treatment after that. Intravenous fluid administration is also recommended. Don't panic. You should give oral rehydration solution. Give combination of antibiotic along with antihistamine medication.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Get Well Soon.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
