What Causes Recurrent Intense Pain In Lower Left Abdomen?
I have a 15 yo daughter who was standing Sunday night and had sudden intense pain in her lower left abdomen. Took her to the Doctor Monday and it was diagnosed as a probable ovarian cyst which had burst. However, today is Tuesday and she is still in a lot of pain. What could this be?

I really appreciate your concern, if this is the ovarian cyst and pain is due to that only then it may be surgical condition although cyst bursting is very less likely condition, so differential diagnosis is matter of concern, hope this information helps.
