Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Recurrent Intense Pain Under The Chest?
Hubby suffering extreme pain, frequent attacks, pain seems to be under breast bone. Heart has been ruled out with EKG, ECHO, Heart CT. Upper GI and lower GI ruled out. CT of brain, no findings. Should the GI s have been able to diagnos gall bladder?
Since you did not mention the exact position of pain site and duration, so very difficult to establish exact diagnosis. This type of pain may be dye to muscle spasm, anxiety, stress or even strain. So in my opinion consult a physician and discuss every thing in detail. However if pain is on the right side and just below ribs it may be due to gall bladder. In this case physical examination is important.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Het Ram Bishnoi
