What Causes Recurrent Itchy Rashes On The Body?

Hi, i have red itchy splotches on areas of my body that go away after a few minutes. Then show up again in another area. There is no rash in the areas. Just redness and really bad itches. Any ideas of what it could be? Any treatment that i can do without going to a doctor?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello, my name is Dr.Dorina Gurabardhi. I understand your concern.
There are many reasons that cause ichy rashes,it can be dermatitis, eczema etc
To diagnose is necessary a visit to a dermatologist.
Some advices that I can give to you are:
-Olive Oil. Extra-virgin olive oil works as a great skin moisturizer, facilitates healing and promotes skin renewal as it is rich in vitamin E and antioxidants.
-Baking Soda. Baking soda helps dry out skin rashes.
-Apply Aloe Vera.
-Cold Compress.
-Apply Apple Cider Vinegar.
-use calamine lotion
-use hydrocortisone cream
Hope my answer was helpful, if you have any other questions I'll be glad to help, thanks!
