What Causes Recurrent Kidney Stones?

I m 34.I have suffered from allergy for years and it has worsened year by year so I have been injected with some medicine containing Corticosteroid ,like Betamethasone, a few times a year for the last few years and i have been taking cetirizine tablets for a few years. I have also had kidney stones but since taking these medicines for my allergy, my kidneys have developed calcium stones more frequently than before. Is there a chance there is a direct connection between them?

hi sir/madam,
Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.

Some people are particularly likely to keep on developing kidney stones, including people who:

-eat a high-protein, low-fibre diet.
-are inactive or bed-bound.
-have a family history of kidney stones.
-have had several kidney or urinary infections.
-have had a kidney stone before, particularly if it was before you were 25.
-have only one fully working kidney.
-have had an intestinal bypass (surgery on your digestive system), or a condition affecting the small intestine, such as Crohn's disease.

Hope i was helpful.
