What Causes Recurrent Left Armpit Pain While Having Nerve Block In Lumbar Area?

Hello. I have periodic pain in my left armpit, usually when I drop my head, laugh or sneeze. For the past week I have had electrical activity and numbness in the palm of my left hand and numbness in fingers. I have had six nerve blocks in the lumbar region over the past 30 years due to nerve pain. I believe this may be simply from a neck misalignment (or a herniated disc but the pain in the neck isn t that bad). I may have conditioned myself to ignore the neck pain; I;ve had neck pain approximately ten years. Thank you for your assistance.

Dear friend, it seems to be a nerve compression in brachial plexus. It is a chronic condition. I advice you to get a MRI examination of cervical region done to rule out compression of nerve. Streching exercises (extension of neck) and Yoga would help a lot. Medicines have limited role to play.
