Low platelets count have a lot of causes. Some are known like in dengue fever and some are unknown like in idiopathic purpura. Also it decreases temporarily in some infection. Soo don't worry about it. Its look like a temporary decline in platelet count due to typhoid infection may b. Or if it is not recovering then we will decide treatment according to the cause.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

It is common for plate count to be on lower side in typhoid, and it may take few weeks to settle back to normal. If all other tests and examination findings are normal, no worries. Your doctor will discuss it with you.
