I had 2 nosebleeds this month -- RARE --hadnt had any since elementary school.. Had the 2nd one which did not stop until an ER visit put a cot into the RIGHT nostril (the other was not involved. THE cot was painfully in for 2 days ...RELIEF came immediately upon removal, and had little- to- some bleed - perhaps from stuck cot response. I ve been dabbing a lot of watery exudate since (about 3 days post-removal. NOW it doesnt seem to be letting air into that nostril - BUT the unaffeted nostril seems to be doing its job re my breathing PLS TELL ME how long should I deal w/ this wheeping nostril -- to be on the safe side. I HAVE NO REGULAR MEDICAL DOCTOR...little history of medical help EXCEPT for routine testing for blood chemistries etc. AND as long as they have been within normal limits, I ve been carrying on...
