What Causes Recurrent Pain In The Chest?

For about two weeks I ve been having random but very painful sharp pains in my chest (right side). They don t last long, probably under a minute, but breathing or movement makes it worse. Hard to describe but it almost feels like a bubble is passing through or something.

Hi,

Your symptoms predominantly suggest angina pectoris (known as cardiac pain) which is caused by temporarily decreased blood supply to the cardiac muscles. Costocondral syndrome and oesophagial pathologies are also possible. For further evaluation, I suggest you a visit to a cardiologist. After chest X-ray, ECG, echocardiography and physical examination, proper diagnosis will be made. In this time, I suggest cease smoking and decrease lipid/salt intake.

May you recover soon
