Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I had a quad bypass 15 years ago -- have had occurances of chest pain periodically since then. Recently -- last 3 weeks, increasing episodes of chest pain -- left chest/back -- heavy feeling. Comes and goes. exacerbated by stress! sometimes exacerbated by exercise, sometimes not. Occasional dizziness, especially when other symptoms are present. Occasional sweating with left arm pain and jaw pain when other symptoms are present. BUT -- no pallor and no signs of cyanosis on my lips or cuticles.
Hello dear, welcome to Ask a doctor service. I reviewed your query and here is my advice.
You are suffering from stable angina. you should consult a cardiologist since the pain comes from a narrow heart artery and may soon lead to infarction. You should do an ECG and a heart ultrasound.
Hope I have answered the question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
