What Causes Recurrent Painful Lump Between Thigh And Vaginal Area?

I have a hard very painful lump inbetween my vagina and the crease of my leg. It keeps coming back every 6-8 months. Last time it happened i put drawing salve on it and white stringy stuff came out and it went away. It is about a inch long and comes back in the same spot each time.

Welcome to HCM.

As per your query a recurrent painful lump between thigh and vaginal area seems to be due to causes like bacterial infection of the skin in the area , it can also be STD. It can also be due to infection in the glands in the area in the skin or a hair follicle infection .I would suggest you to clean the area with antiseptic solution and put gentle pressure to drain of the fluid as it has already ruptured. You can also apply a Antibiotic ointment over it. You can also take anti inflammatory painkiller like Ibuprofen .Follow for 2 to 3 days and in case if it does not improve consult adermatologist and get evaluated an he can also advise you a course of oral antibiotics like a combination of Sulphamethoxazole and Trimethoprim along with anti inflammatory and anti allergic .
