What Causes Recurrent Retinal Haemorrhage In The Left Eye?
I have problem with my eyes lately. I have blood in my eyes 2 times in a row. It seems like a blood vessel exploded in my eyes? Usually it will be back to normal in a few days. but this time I got better yesterday, the blood almost clear in my left eye, but this morning it happened again, the same eye, and it looks worse. Is there any problem with my left eye? or my body?
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Do you have hypertension or diabetes ? these two conditions cause blood vessels to rupture and blood to collect in eye . Recurrent can cause permanent damage as the blocked or rupture vessel can give a stimulus for new vessels to develop which can be difficult to control and can cause glaucoma.
Hope I have answered your query.
