What Causes Recurrent Scarlet Fever Symptoms And Cold In A 7-year-old Boy?
Hello, my son is 7 years old and in Feb and 3 weeks later in March he was diagnosed with scarlet fever. Beginning 6 days ago he developed symptoms of a cold, and now showing signd of scarlet fever again. His primary is saying its Kawasaki however he shows no signs of heart problems and his fever doesnt last past 3 days. I do not believe that it is kawasaki, however why is he getting sick so much and immediately developing scarlet fever each time.
itis a bacterial infection it is treated by antibiotic. fever chill nauseavomiting are generally present. in differential diagnosis kawasaki will be there. it will also have fever rash and glands of neck are affected. it is self limiting.heis having low immunity.can be treated with ig g to enhance immunity.
