What Causes Recurrent Swelling Around The Mouth?

I have recurring swelling around my mouth and lower face. It usually starts with a tingling around my lips as though I was going to have a fever blister. It is gross and I usually stay in the house for at least 24 hours in order not to frighten small children. YYYY@YYYY

Hello,

Swelling around mouth after fever is usually herpes infection reactivation. Take Acyclovir along with that you can apply Acyclovir ointment locally over ulcer area.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards
