Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of recurrent swelling in pharynx despite on medications for chronic pharyngitis. Need not to worry, it seems chronic pharyngitis with time to time laryngitis. Other possible chances are

- vocal nodule
- vocal polyp
- Granulation on vocal cords
- growth on vocal cords.

I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist again for proper checkup. Doctor may order throat swab test and blood test because granular pharyngitis can occur due to bacterial or viral infection.

- Do betadine gargles on daily basis.

- Avoid eating spicy and acidic food and beverages.

- Avoid taking outside food.

Hope your concern has been resolved.

Get Well Soon.

Best Wishes,
