What Causes Recurrent Symptoms Of CMV Mono Lot Like Headache, Body Aches, And Fatigue That Occurred Last Year?
My 14 yr. old daughter was diagnosed with CMV mono last March, which lasted 6 weeks. She has the same symptoms again and I m not sure if the mono has recurred or her body is remembering the pain, the biggest symptoms are headache, body aches, and fatigue

CMV pp65 antigenemia assay will tell about viral replication. It is helpful in also diagnosing and monitoring her. Both CMV quantitative PCR and CMV-pp65 antigen tests are the best.
