What Causes Recurring Abdominal Cramping With Irregular Menstruation?
Hi i keep getting really bad cramps and have been for a week and a half now and they wont go away and i just finished my period a while ago. I always have oiling skin and once in a while bad acne. My periods have always been irregular but i contributed that to exercise. I get lumps once in a while under my arms and have had a lump in my groin area for a while and it wont go away. I always have a headache and i do have depression, i oversleep but still feel tired when i wake up. I feel like i have weird hair growth i have to shave my legs every other day and its annoying. What do you think i should do. I am 16 and have never been to a gynecologist should i make an appointment, my email is YYYY@YYYY Thank you
Polycystic ovaries could be the likely cause of your irregular periods. Yes, I would suggest you to get a doctor appointment. Pelvic scan, complete blood count and thyroid function test should be done to identify the cause of hormonal imbalance. You will be prescribed with hormonal pills for 2 to 3 months which will help in regulating your cycles.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
