What Causes Recurring Acute Lower Back Pain?

I ve been having acute pain off and on with my lower back right side above my waist to just below my rib cage and just investigating possible relief remedies and trying not to worry that it could be other internal problems. I m 44 years old. This has been going on for a couple of weeks and am finishing up a road trip driving for three days. Thank you for your help.

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,Welcome to healthcare magic. After going through your query in my opinion it is muscular pain. It may be related to overexertion of muscles due to overwork. In acute stage rest and analgesics is its treatment. Sometimes vitamin D deficiency can cause this so serum vitamin D test is advised if it is low than vitamin D supplementation will be required.Other causes of pain can be seen by doing ultrsonography of abdomen and MRI of spine. I think your query answered.Welcome to any follow up query.
