Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My husband has a large (larger than a quarter) bloody blister that recurs on his heel/bottom of the foot. I want to pprotect the area but am not certain how to treat it. The skin is very thick, and develops deep cracks that bleed, then blister and become very painful. I hope to get him in to his dr. soon, but need some immediate steps to prevent infection and relieve the pain. The spot filled rapidly with bloody fluid, and skin was bulging. The pressure is very painful.
